PRINCIPAL
Dear Parents and Carers,
We wish everyone a happy and safe holiday and look forward to your return on Tuesday 13th July.
Staff will be engaged in Professional Learning on Monday 12th July. We thank you for your support of this important opportunity.
NAIDOC Week is fast approaching (4-11 July 2021) and this year’s theme is Heal Country, Heal Our Nation. This week we invite you to spend a moment to give thanks for ancient indigenous wisdom and the gift First Nations people offer as caretakers of the land. Through ancient indigenous wisdom, deep listening and unity, we can heal the pain and address the cries of the land and its people.
We will be celebrating NAIDOC week with the children early next term.
COVID-19 Pandemic and travel
As you would be aware, the COVID pandemic continues to impact communities. With the current situation and circumstances often changing quickly, it is important that we are all alert to national outbreaks, exposure sites and all subsequent health and travel alerts announced by ACT Health and other state health agencies.
Please be vigilant with any travel plans during the break and continue to refer to the COVID-ACT webpage for up-to-date alerts, information and potential impacts on travel plans, notification and isolation requirements.
Please continue to inform the school if COVID testing is occurring within families and we request that children remain home if unwell.
Please keep you and your family safe by checking in regularly with the COVID 19 health advice website.
Take care and God bless,
