BOOK WEEK

Each year, across Australia, the Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) brings children and books together by celebrating Book Week. During this time the focus is on enjoying children's literature from Australian Authors and Illustrators.

BOOK WEEK CHARACTER PARADE

Our Book Character Parade is on Friday 23rd of August at 9.00am at morning assembly and all students are invited to dress up as their favourite book character and bring along either the book or a copy of the front cover. Alternatively, students may wish to come as a superhero in keeping with the 2019 CBCA Book Week theme "Reading Is My Secret Power". Below are two photos from our parade last year.

BOOK WEEK ART DISPLAY - Westfield Woden

The student's Book Week art will be displayed at Westfield Woden, in Centre Court for the duration of Book Week from Monday 19th August to Sunday 25th of August.
