Hi everyone,

Hope you’ve had a wonderful start to the year. We have now successfully survived a full week of the 2025 school year!! 

It’s this time of year that the school needs volunteers as a class parent representative for every class.  In a nutshell, the class parent rep:

• Is a contact person for other parents to ask questions. 
• Share school reminders to the class that the coordinator sends out through a separate what’s app group. 
• Can organise a park play date for the families to meet each other. 
• Help to welcome new families to the school. 
• Create a what’s app group for the class. This helps families to clarify anything their child says. For example “My child says they don’t need to bring in library bags - Do the kids still need to bring in their library bags?” “ Yes.” 
• The parent rep coordinator will be attached to your group chat and will be able to help if you need it.
